OMEGA Geneve Electronic f300hz Tuning Fork 198.030 1972
Here we have a stunning Omega Constellation Quartz from 1972, a quintessential example of 1970s watch design. This remarkable WRISTCLASSIC features a robust 37 mm stainless steel case with crisp, sharp edges, showcasing its excellent vintage condition. The wide-set bezel accentuates the watch’s bold presence, while still maintaining a comfortable fit on the wrist, despite its chunky 70s aesthetic. The dial is a real highlight with a striking, deep blue color in pristine condition, showing no signs of wear. The classic Omega logo, balanced indexes, and cleanly designed hands come together harmoniously, creating an elegant yet understated layout. The date window is positioned at 3 o’clock, adding functionality without detracting from the design. Powered by the Caliber 1250 Quartz movement, known for its reliability and precision, this Omega is running strong and keeping time well. It comes complete with its original Omega stainless steel bracelet, adding to its vintage charm and enhancing its wearability for daily use. This Omega Constellation f300Hz represents everything desirable in a 1970s timepiece, blending bold design, timeless styling, and quality craftsmanship. It’s a true WRISTCLASSIC with ideal proportions, perfect for those who appreciate vintage sophistication in everyday wear.
OMEGA
Omega was founded in 1848 in La Chaux-de-Fonds by Louis Brandt. Out of this small watch manufacture grew a large company: In 1894, the famous 19-ligne pocket watch movement was developed and named “Omega”. Omega, as the final letter of the Greek alphabet, stands for the ultimate level in perfection and quality. In the 1930 the company entered into collaboration with the S.S.I.H. (Société Suisse pour l’Industrie Horlogère). Out of this collaboration the Swatch Group developed. Today, Omega is the flagship of this huge company. In 1932, Omega entered its partnership with the Olympics which continues till today. When in 1969 Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin accomplished the first moon landing there were equipped by Omega with the Speedmaster, and this so-called „Moonwatch“ is still regarded as one of the most significant watches in history.
