A rare and historically significant Rolex ref. 6564 dating to circa 1958, featuring a stainless steel 34 mm Oyster case and an exceptionally rare Tritium dial engraved with “Amtlich geprüfter Chronometer” (the German phrasing for Officially Certified Chronometer). This unusual text is a notable variation seen on only a handful of early examples. The silver‑white sunburst dial displays applied dauphine hands and faceted baton indices with aged Tritium lume dots – typical of mid‑1950s Rolex. The exclusive German chronometer text adds strong collectible value. The case retains sharp proportions with minimal wear, preserving its vintage integrity and Oyster robustness. Powered by the Rolex caliber 1030, this automatic movement was chronometer-certified and featured the signature “butterfly” rotor – renowned for reliability and technical refinement.
