This model showcases the celebrated El Primero high-frequency movement, known as one of the first automatic chronograph calibers ever produced. It’s a piece of watchmaking history with unmatched charm and character, thanks to its original, untouched dial and perfectly aged lume. The stainless steel case is in excellent vintage condition and measures a robust 38mm, giving it a solid presence on the wrist. The wide-set bezel adds to this watch’s appeal, while the dial remains pristine, featuring the elegant Zenith logo, original hands with matching lume, and beautifully balanced indexes. The original crown, signed with the Zenith logo, is still intact, adding further to the piece’s authenticity. Powered by the legendary El Primero 3019PHC automatic movement, this watch is running smoothly, keeping time well, and the date function advances correctly. With its classic design and historical importance, this El Primero A386 is increasingly hard to find in such original condition, making it a true WRISTCLASSIC and a cherished collector’s item.
ZENITH
The watch manufacture Zenith was founded in 1865 by Georges Favre-Jacot. In 1911 the name was changed into „Fabrique des Billodes“. One day Georges Favre-Jacot finished a new movement which he named after the sky and the stars: Zenith. This is how the brand Zenith was born. 1969 Zenith came up with the first automatic movement called El Primero. Till today the El Primero is one of the most iconic movements in the watch-world.
