ZENITH A3630 Diver 1960s
The Zenith A3630 is a truly cool and rare vintage diver’s watch with an incredible story and undeniable charm. Known for being one of the rarest Zenith divers, alongside the S.58, this model brings both authenticity and character that make it highly desirable for collectors. The A3630 was introduced in the 1960s, and this example is preserved beautifully with a 38mm steel case and the original Gay Frères ladder bracelet—a hallmark of vintage Zenith style. Its wide-set bezel adds a commanding presence to the wrist, while the dial showcases an even patina that perfectly complements the silver indices and iconic Zenith logo. The watch’s hands are well balanced, contributing to the piece’s harmonious and understated appeal. The original Zenith-logo crown adds further authenticity to this WRISTCLASSIC. Powered by a caliber 2552PC automatic movement, this A3630 is both functional and reliable, with the date advancing correctly and keeping time well after a recent service (07/21). This A3630 is an ultimate vintage tool watch, embodying both functionality and rarity—making it one of the most sought-after Zenith divers in today’s market.
ZENITH
The watch manufacture Zenith was founded in 1865 by Georges Favre-Jacot. In 1911 the name was changed into „Fabrique des Billodes“. One day Georges Favre-Jacot finished a new movement which he named after the sky and the stars: Zenith. This is how the brand Zenith was born. 1969 Zenith came up with the first automatic movement called El Primero. Till today the El Primero is one of the most iconic movements in the watch-world.
