OMEGA Constellation Jumbo Ref. 14777-SC 1962
This Omega Constellation Ref. 14777-SC from 1962 is a stellar example of vintage elegance and exclusivity. Its larger 37 mm case—a rare size for its era—makes it highly sought-after among collectors, especially given its limited production exclusively for the Asian market, primarily Japan. The crisp, slightly polished case with sharp edges showcases a wide-set bezel, giving this timepiece an appealing presence on the wrist. The dial is in excellent condition, showing only minimal signs of age, with a balanced design highlighted by the Omega logo, refined indexes, and hands. The date display at 3 o’clock integrates seamlessly into the design, and the original Omega-signed crown enhances its authenticity. Powering this WRISTCLASSIC is the cal. 561 movement, celebrated for its precision and reliability, which is running strong and keeping time accurately. The Ref. 14777 is a unique take on the iconic Omega Constellation, combining larger proportions with timeless styling. Its rarity and condition make it a collector’s dream, and it’s perfectly suited for both everyday wear and display as an exceptional piece of horological history.

OMEGA
Omega was founded in 1848 in La Chaux-de-Fonds by Louis Brandt. Out of this small watch manufacture grew a large company: In 1894, the famous 19-ligne pocket watch movement was developed and named “Omega”. Omega, as the final letter of the Greek alphabet, stands for the ultimate level in perfection and quality. In the 1930 the company entered into collaboration with the S.S.I.H. (Société Suisse pour l’Industrie Horlogère). Out of this collaboration the Swatch Group developed. Today, Omega is the flagship of this huge company. In 1932, Omega entered its partnership with the Olympics which continues till today. When in 1969 Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin accomplished the first moon landing there were equipped by Omega with the Speedmaster, and this so-called „Moonwatch“ is still regarded as one of the most significant watches in history.
